Gaza gunmen get Mo-toon fever again
For the second time in a week armed gunmen have surround the EU offices in Gaza, fired guns in the air, and demanded an apology from various European governments.
Islamic Jihad and the Yasser Arafat Brigades set a 48 hour deadline for the French, German, Danish and Norwegian governments to apologise. Another group calling themselves the Abu el-Reesh Brigades warned that citizens from those countries would be “in danger” in Gaza.
Muslims campaign against a cartoon portraying Islam as a religion of violence by er….. threatening violence?
I’m sure there’s a joke there somewhere.
I can imagine it now, they’re there firing their guns in the air shouting “Islam is a religion of peace!!!!!”
The question is: Which cartons are they protesting over?
The imams are display false Mohammed drawings on BBC and al-Jazeera. Apparently the original 12 weren’t bad enough, so they added their own pictures of Muhammed with a pig’s snout and horns.

I find it really hard to believe that in this day and age we can’t simply call bullshit on these people. They need to understand that just because they live in a western country they can’t make westerners fall in line to their way of life. If the “infidels” are so bad why don’t they go live in a Muslim country? I find it remarkable that the BBC are still referring to Mohammed (the muslim prophet) as “The Prophet Mohammed” – he’s a muslim prophet, i.e. a prophet to muslims. He’s not a fucking prophet to me – such thing as far as I’m concerned are bullshit. There isn’t a single prophecy ever that has actually come true – although a lot have been interpreted to fit facts.
I don’t give a flying fuck what colour someone’s skin is: I judge by what I find and I find that religous people are typically ostriches with their heads in sand unware of the real world. Even the good ones would be good people without religion: it’s just an excuse to behave in a particular manner without fear of governemnt reprisal.

I find it very hard taking the BBC serious these days – The Danish PM has just been on al-Arabia (I saw it) to explain the Danish position, and yes he was very soft – but he did not apologies for anything as there is nothing to apologies for. He did repeat the apology from the news paper “Sorry you were offended” and ones again pointed out that he personally was deeply distressed that many Muslims had taken it ill and that he personally never would express him self in that way about any religion.
He also very clearly points out that the government can not interfere with the press!

They base it on their book. In Saudi Arabia or Iran I would probably be dead because of that book. Just think of the official reation as well. Several countries have recalled their ambassadors. How insane is that? Remember maybe ten years ago when an American artist displayed a crucifix in a jar of urine? That was even funded by the American government’s arts program, the NEA. After some protests I believe it was taken down but I don’t recall any death threats and certianly no guns being fired in the air about it.
