If Islam were just a religion (as is Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism etc) there
wouldn’t really be a problem. Unfortunately it is also a totalitarian political
ideology which uses various interpretations of the ‘word of God’ to control vast
populations in Muslim countries all over the world. It uses and interprets the Koran
as a means of justifying fascistic, totalitarian regimes where democracy is
non-existent, where non-Muslims are hated and persecuted and where women are repressed
and controlled. Muslim extremists use quotations from the Koran to justify their
unspeakable acts of violence, even though in Islam murder is a very serious sin.
Apparently, these people believe that killing in the name of Islam will put them first
in the queue outside the gates of paradise.
Strangely distorted ethics these people have. It is punishable by death to insult
Islam, or even criticise it, yet it is ok for them to advocate and commit the murder
of innocent people.
The most obvious conclusion is that they have their own agenda and it has little
to do with religion and everything to do with poitics and their own nationalism.
They seem to still be living in the middle ages and have a mindset to match. They are
to be pitied. When they have a sophisticated enough world view to be able to
engage in intelligent dialogue with the rest of the world it will be a great day indeed.
At the moment they just seem intent on alienating and isolating themselves from
the western societies they live in. Granted, these societies are far from perfect,
but before they are too critical, they should take a good look at conditions
in Islamic countries and remember that they, or their parents, came to the west
to ‘get a better life’. The societies that they fled to from harsh Islamic regimes
are the same ones that they now seek to subvert and alienate. Integration doesn’t mean
losing their Islamic identity and they shouldn’t feel that it does. Buddhists, Jews and
others have been doing it quite successfully for a long time. Why should Islam
be any different? If you sow the seeds of hatred, is it any surprise that hatred is
what you reap?

Interesting.

The ironic thing is that if the British electorate had been listened to by successive
governments we would not have the imbalance in culture we have now.

But Powell is again proven right, and I fear we will have “Rivers of Blood” on the streets.

I think ALL religion is an abomination,I relish a regime which has no “Faith schools” where
parents can indoctrinate their kids. No Government sponsorship of religious minorities.

No Christians, Jews Muslims et al.

All the people who have invaded our land feeling they are British!
