Danish Muslims to call for Motoon fatwa

Flemming Rose, art editor if the Jyllands-Posten, has revealed in his blog that the Islamic Society of Copenhagen will push for a fatwa against the paper which published the 12 Motoons nearly two years ago.

If, as is likely, the Jyllands-Posten is acquitted in a pending civic case brought by a number of Mulim organisations, and the European Human Rights Court also makes a stand for freedom of expression, the ISC will seek support in the Middle East for a fatwa.

Kasem Ahmad, a spokesman for the Islamic Society, said:

Until now nobody has had to answer for insulting our prophet. We have no choice but to ask for a fatwa.

No Muslim will ever forget that the prophet was insulted.

UPDATE: An attempt by the same loose coalition of Danish Koraniacs to sue a politician for libel has just failed. The leader of the Danish anti-immigration party had branded them “traitors” for touting the 12 Motoons, plus three others, around the Middle East to stir up resentment. Kasem Ahmad is unhappy:

We are very disappointed with the verdict and are considering an appeal

Defending one’s religion is becoming absolutely fucking insane. You offend our ‘god’ so we prosecute/bomb/behead you.
No wonder more and more people just want to stay out of it.

Damn! That dude looks like my brother-in-law!

Insult the fucking prophet? Who cares if they’re not a muslim anyway? I don’t see a crowd of rampaging Christians every time someone mentions Jesus H Christ.

Keep it up folks, a secular society is a happy one.

Hope they don’t find out about my campaign to get their prophet put on the sex offenders register then!

“we will never forget that the prophet was insulted”

Oh, you mean the pig-buggering child rapist, Mahmud?

  5. Monitor says:

To be fair, GT, I don’t think there is any evidence that he buggered pigs.

They sure do protest against a fucking cartoon but you don’t hear a peep of condemnation when it comes to one of thier own beheading someone. That is because they agree with the beheadings. We better fight these radical Islamofacists now while we still have a fighting chance. Thank God Almighty for giving us George W. Bush when we needed him…….
