Stephen Green must think license fee payers should cover the £90,000 cost of his pointless case and idiotic activities. I wonder if he would support £90,000 being waived if an Atheist unsuccessfully tried to sue 'Songs of Praise' for false advertising for stating there was definitely a god?

Maybe he should take this as a message from god to shut the f**k up?

As Stuart pointed out over at the Freethinker, why is he aasking Thompson and Thoday to waive *their* fees? These are legal costs and are being collected by the solicitors. Unless he's asking Thomson and Thoday to *give* him £90,000? Luckily, lawyers being what they are, Shithead's whinings about "justice" and "fair play" will fall on very deaf ears indeed.

As to why he went into it in the first place, without the money to bil himself out if it all went tits up...well, maybe he prayed to his god for guidance? Maybe his god told him he'd win? (Gotta love god's sense of humour).

I hope it destroys Green; that nasty, vindictive, mentally ill little twerp deserves to be banged up in a debtor's prison - shame we don't still have them. Personally, I'd like to see him hanging from a rope.

There is a god after all...it just isn't the one that Dogshit believes in and now he's being punished.

I love the fact that he gives examples of where the BBC are 'wasting' money...as if to say if they can waste their licence fee payers money on TV programmes they can give me a bung.

As I understand it, Green went after Thompson personally rather than "the BBC". Had he won his case, would he have been willing to waive his own costs?

Questions: if bankruptcy looms, why didn't the courts make sure Green had sufficient funds to pay up from the beginning? Why should other people be out-of-pocket because of him? Will he (and other opponents of free speech) be able to continue to rack up huge costs for other people pursuing court cases thay can't afford?
