The world’s religions are quick to grab cash from the gullible – which they spend on evangelising their bigotry – but reluctant to pass the money to the poor.

They are part of the culture heritage of Italy and the world and have no value. Should the US empty its museums to pay its debt, should The national Portrait gallery be sold to pay for NHS? It’s content sold to rich Russians who would keep the works of art away from public view. I’m not a defender of the catholic church but I can still appreciate the marvels of its art collections.
