Sell all you have and give it to the poor. Surely Christians in general and Catholics in particular should be saying "Who are you to lecture me on what Christ says that I should or should not do? You can't even live up to his instructions yourself you hypocrite." They are part of the culture heritage of Italy and the world and have no value. Should the US empty its museums to pay its debt, should The national Portrait gallery be sold to pay for NHS? It's content sold to rich Russians who would keep the works of art away from public view. I'm not a defender of the catholic church but I can still appreciate the marvels of its art collections.
