MWW wouldn’t normally comment on the story that Channel 4’s alternative Christmas message is being delivered by a woman in a veil, but the Daily Express thought it was a good idea to get that crazee Christian from Camarthen, Stephen Green, to say something silly about it.
He duly obliged, saying the idea would “get people’s backs up” and,
The niqab is a veil of separation between Muslims and the indigenous Christian community. This will expose multi-culturalism for what it is – a bias against the Christian population.
Note the lovely racist undertone of that adjective “indigenous”, and the hilarious persecution complex. We’ve missed you Stephen. You’ve been very quiet of late – that phone call from the Express must have been like spring water to a thirsty soul.

I sometimes feel like praying for the Rapture (see previous story): the good Lord might hoover Stephen Green up there and leave the rest of us. Come to think of it, we ought to devise a computer game featuring Green. Nah, come to think of it, whether it depicted him as God or Beelzebub, he’d feel flattered.
How does “not having a monopoly on Christmas broadcasting” equal “a bias against” you?
So on one side we have an old woman mumbling the Queens English…or should that be ‘her English’ and on the other another woman mumbling because she’s chewing cloth.
Will we notice the difference?
That is Stephen Green all over, Graham. What else does one expect from a man who will placard Gay Pride, then bang out a press release the next day pontificating about “hatred towards Christians” when homophobic Fundies at Gay Pride aren’t made to feel very welcome.
I wonder how Mr. Green feels about the BBC using Spinal Tap’s magnificent song “Christmas With The Devil” as the backing to their ‘Christmas Specials’ trailer…?

Stuart: yeah, you’re right. I just harbour a secret wish that maybe, if we all spell out why he’s being an idiot enough times and in clear enough language, magical interwebs will burrow into his brain and give him some sort of self-awareness.
Aparrently the woman who was going to make the speech is having second thoughts because she didn’t reaalise she was going to be up against the queen.
You would have thought the title “The alternative Queen’s Speech” would have been a clue.
I wonder who was going to write it? Is it her or is it written for her?
Bah ha ha. While waiting in the barbers today I looked at the Mail’s front page (!) story about Christmas cards not being religious enough and Green had been rung up for a “deeply offensive” quote for that to. In fact he thinks the country should boycot the ones he doesn’t like.
