CV to picket Romans in Britain
The Independent’s Pandora reveals that Christian Voice intends to picket Sam West’s production of The Romans in Britain at the Sheffield Crucible when it opens in February.
If the simulated-sodomy scene isn’t removed, they will also consider legal action. With all these expensive prosecutions to fund, CV had better have deep pockets - otherwise they are the ones who’ll end up being buggered.
And that would be such a shame.

You know, CV and the CI always seem to be announcing their *intention* to sue. Have they actually managed a prosecution yet?

Yes! My grandfather fought in a world war to defend people’s right to watch simulated buggery in the nation’s theatres. Thank god for productions such as this that practice this right without any trace of sensationalism.

There’s never a pride of lions around when you want one, is there?

This Yank would like to express full support for the courageous and talented Sam West, and the entire production of Romans in Britain. Good luck, Godspeed and a fight to the death to those like CV whose minds and hearts are hideously narrowed by ignorance and fear.

Beyer has something to say about this in the january newsnippet section of his website.

I am wondering whether he really means what he says in this sentence or whether he erally has no grasp on the English language.
“mediawatch-uk, the organisation that Whitehouse founded, believes that the new production is merely a marketing muse.”
