Mo-toon protestors act their age

boo hoo
Mo-toon fever took a bizarre and disturbing turn yesterday when about 5,000 children marched through Karachi chanting “Hang those who insulted the prophet”.

The tiny demonstrators, aged mostly between five and twelve years old, had been bussed in from local schools and madrassas. An effigy of the Prime Minister of Denmark was burnt, as were plywood coffins emblazoned with the US, Danish and – predictably – Israeli flags.

It wouldn’t be the first time children – most of whom can hold little concept of the nurances of religion, what it stands for and so forth – have been used (abused?) by adults on the march, made to wield placards. Admittedly, this is on a larger scale, and just about all of these kids will grow up to hold the religion that is being force-fed to them by their parents and society. At least Christians of a particular bent in this country and America who have used kids shamelessly on demos can’t be assured that all the kids will grow up to share their rather weird views.

Aww, isn’t that nice, A brand new group of Children being trained (Brain Washed) for terrorism at an early age!

Just warms my hart, the way this loving religion treats its children. NOT!

It amazes me how backwards and ignorant some of these country’s are!

Its sad, but the more I think about making that part of the world, one big glass parking lot, the better it sounds!

Wasn’t that long ago that the Roman Catholic church was guilty of precisely the same thing! We should never forget that ALL religion is potentially dangerous, not just Islam.

Hey, credit to their educational system – they got the right Scandinavian country’s flag!

    🙂

James – just being a horrible pedant, but if you are going to term some people “backward & ignorant”, then maybe you should spell “HEART” & the plural of “country” (hint – it’s COUNTRIES, no apostrophe necessary. That apostrophe should be transferred to the “Its” in the next sentence) correctly? Sorry, but I’m not a fan of people who seem simply to be pushing a pro-war, pro-violence agenda, whichever side they happen to be on, so your post was fair game… 🙂

Marc – abso-bloody-lutely. Listening to 5-year old Baptists in the US is terrifying. Especially if you think that science has something useful and positive to contribute to our future!

Maybe he was warming some venison, Andy? 😉

Child abuse, that’s what it is. Ignore the cold facts and preach the warm and fuzzy lies.

This is how powerful the religious meme really is: and deprogramming a child’s mind takes a lot of doing. The more powerful these people become the faster we head into another dark age.

Wow! whoever drew the picture of the kid with the knife on the original picture did fool many people, but it for sure can’t fool me, especially that Pakistanis don’t even wear that red thing!!!

  8. Monitor says:

Yeah, for sure – you can’t fool a conspiracy theorist.
